Lake Merritt Weed Warriors received the 2017 Parks Stewardship Award by the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation at its annual meeting Saturday, September 9. This honor was in recognition of the LM Weed Warriors volunteer's outstanding contribution to the landscaping of the Lake Merritt shoreline.
