The Lake Merritt Conservancy Project 2023. LMCP
The Essex Community Action Committee is heading this project with the support of lakemerritt.org and the Lake Merritt Advocates.
Modeled after the Central Park Conservancy, the goal is to endow a Lake Merritt Conservancy with enough funds to help maintain and preserve Lake Merritt's natural and urban beauty as the iconic heart of Oakland.
